Destination Gobi

We will be leaving for the Gobi Desert in just over two hours. We will be going by Russian jeep, and the trip will take approximately nine days. I say approximately, because anything could, and frequently does, happen. Mongolia is one of the rare places in the world where there are vast expanses of land without roads. That is why we'll need the jeep. We likely won't be showering most of the time, which means we will all stink together, and our guide is going to negotiate accommodations as we go. I'm sure we will have a very long, interesting blog post in about 10 days. We will also have a review of our hostel.
